Leo Riemer is fourth from the left in the second row and Bromley Smith is to the right of him. Phi Gamma Delta was the male fraternity with the most members in 1895. The other established social fraternities at Bucknell were Phi Kappa Psi , Sigma Alpha Epsilon and Sigma Chi. There were other "secret societies" at the university in 1895, including Phi Epsilon, a local fraternity which had just been organized on January 15, 1895 and which became Kappa Sigma on December 11, 1896. This photograph is taken from the 1896 L'Agenda.
